The Elberton 12- County Fair will celebrate its 77th year of operation in 2010. When all the planning is completed, it promises to be the most entertaining and exciting Fair ever.

This years Fair will include many of the annual favorites, Carnival Midway by Family Attractions, Demo Derby, Big Time Wrestling, Elberton Idol Contest, Exotic Animal Petting Zoo, Nightly Stage Shows and more still in the planning stage.

This year marks the second annual "Miss Elberton 12-County Fair" Pageant. Winners of age divisions will receive great age appropriate gifts, an Embroidered Sash, and a large trophy and crown.

For the second time, Elberton 12- County Fair is sponsoring a Kids Day on Saturday October 9, 2010 from 12:00 pm until 5:00 pm. Kids under 12 will be admitted to the fair for only $2.00 and pay only $8.00 for a ride armband good from 12:00pm to 5:00 pm. Buttons the Clown, at 4:00 pm on the free stage will have a magic show and games for the children. At 5:00 Elberton 12- County Fair will give away 2 bikes to 2 lucky winners.

New to the Fair this year, everyone is invited to ride "Rufus" down by the exhibit building.

Applications are now being accepted for vending space at the fair. Inside booth space is 10' x 10' and sells for $150 for the first booth and $100 for each additional booth. Outside space is sold per front foot, at $25 per front foot, minimum of 10 feet.

The Elberton 12- County Fair is seeking businesses, nonprofit organizations, and educational exhibitors who would like 35,000 + people to visit them during the week of October 4-10, 2010. You should enclose 25% of your space rent to hold your space. The remaining balance is due upon set-up at the fair. All monies paid after September 15 must be cash or certified funds. If you are seeking new customers or additional exposure, you certainly want to be at the Elberton 12- County Fair during October 4-10.
